How we

For mentors and mentees

Community guidelines.

A short, plain-English list of what we expect from everyone on the platform. If you can't get behind these, we're probably not the right home for you.

01

Show up.

Be on time. Bring focus. Sessions are short — make them count. If you have to cancel, give as much notice as you can. Where possible, at least 24 hours.

02

Be honest.

If a mentee asks something you don't know, say so. If something isn't working in a session, raise it. Mentors aren't expected to have all the answers — just to be straight about which ones they have.

03

No promises about outcomes.

Don't guarantee auditions, agents, sales, jobs, or any other outcome. Share what worked for you, what you've seen work for others, and be clear when something is opinion. Outcomes belong to the mentee, not the mentor.

04

Respect the relationship.

Sessions are 1-on-1 and private. Don't share what's said in a session without consent — including names, work-in-progress, or personal context. The trust mentees place in you is the whole product.

05

Keep money on the platform.

Payments run through us so both sides are protected. Don't ask mentees to pay you directly, off-platform, or through other channels. If you bring a mentee in from outside, route their bookings through your profile.

06

Don't use sessions to sell other things.

Mentees are paying for your attention on the session topic. Don't use the time to pitch unrelated courses, paid newsletters, products, or services. Recommending a useful resource is fine. Selling one isn't.

07

No harassment. No discrimination. No exceptions.

We don't tolerate harassment, discrimination, unwanted approaches, or behaviour that makes someone feel unsafe — in sessions, in messages, or anywhere on the platform. If something happens, tell us. If we see it, we act. Repeat or serious violations end the account.

08

You can say no.

Mentors aren't obliged to accept every mentee. Mentees aren't obliged to book again. If a conversation isn't right — for any reason — you can decline the booking, end the relationship, or step out. If you need help navigating that, contact us.

09

Stay current.

The value you offer is in the work you do now and the perspective you've built from it. Mentors are expected to be active working creatives — not retired, not coasting on a past credit. If you step away from your craft for a long stretch, let us know.

10

Reviews are public.

Mentees can leave a review on your profile after a session. We don't edit them. We don't take them down because they're critical. If you think a review is unfair or breaks these guidelines, contact us and we'll look at it.

Need help?

Something happened. Or something feels off.

If a session, message, or behaviour on the platform crossed a line, or if you just want a second opinion before deciding what to do, get in touch with our team. We read every message.
