Rajat Kapoor is a filmmaker, theatre director and an accidental actor. He spends all his time writing film scripts and trying to raise money to make them! A national award winner, Some of his notable films, directed by him are Raghu Romeo, Mixed Doubles, Mithya, Ankhon Dekhi and Kadakh. 

A masterclass personally mentored by Rajat Kapoor on script writing for the very first time. An up close personal experience on a digital platform. An in-conversation with Rajat Kapoor to professional tips on how to work and build a good script. Assignments will be given 4 days before the workshop starts.

The course format will be:

1. What is Creative Mentor?

Creative Mentor is an initiative of a 20 yr old Singapore based company, Teamwork Productions. It is an online education platform which was launched in May 2021, starting with a focus on the Performing Arts and will diversify into other areas going forward. The courses on Creative Mentor provide unprecedented intensive interaction with the mentors, providing an enriching perspective and experience to learn from legends in various fields. Our programs are designed to support and encourage learning, honing of skills and maximization of individual creative potential. It provides the exposure that amps up your skills and creative potential to the next level.

2. How do I register for the course?

Once you are on the course page click on the "Book your Spot Now" button which will lead you to the checkout page.

3. What is the format of the course?

The course will be conducted online. You will have your own user log-in at the Creative Mentor website where you will be able to log in to your session. This is a real time engagement with your mentor, who will also be logged in and addressing you real time.

4. Are these courses fit for beginners?

These courses are targeted at all those people who have an interest in the field of study and a basic background or base which could be educational or practical experience and training.  The mentors are all professionals in their field and the objective is for participants to learn from their experience and enhance their skills.

5. How long is each class?

The duration of the course is eight hours with 2 hour sessions each on 3 days. Please see the course content above for specific dates and timings.

6. What is the number of seats in each course?

This will vary with each courses, Most classes are small numbers to facilitate maximum interaction with the mentors. An average class size would be anywhere from 15- 40 participants.

7.     Would there be assignments given outside the course timings ?

There could be brief assignments given depending on the nature of the course and which we consider are effective for you to be able to showcase your work and receive personalized feedback from the Mentors. We try not to give anything that is too time consuming as we recognize many of the participants are working professionals or students with hectic schedules.

8. On which platform is the course conducted ?

The course is conducted on our own website www.creativementor.co. The interface is provided by zoom in the backend, so it is a familiar experience for our students.

9. Do I get recordings of the classes?

In some programs the participants will get clippings or recording of their own performances if any during the session. The course content is not available for download.

10. What if I miss a class?

Since these are very customized sessions conducted by the Mentors in real time, we are not able to share the content for download or give a make up class. Please ensure that you are able to attend all the sessions before you sign up.

11. What type of app/browser/device do I need to attend the class?

We recommend google chrome, but the course can be accessed on any browser through our website. Please ensure you have a good internet connection, headphones and a well-lit background.

13. Do I get a Certificate after the course?

Yes, you will receive a certificate of participation after the course completion.

Our course prices are in USD and we accept payments in USD and INR through a credit card on our website.

15. What is the refund policy?

If there is any cancellation of the course from our end due to some unforeseen circumstances, we will give you a full refund within 30 days. If for some reason you are unable to attend the course, we can give you a credit code to apply for any upcoming course within one year.
